Scarlett Johansson to Sell Herself at Auction for Zoo Premiere
Scarlett Johansson can hardly use a dating service to find a guy, but she can do the next best thing. She’s auctioning herself off for the premiere of her next movie, “We Bought a Zoo.” But read the fine print.
The lucky guy, or gal, will get to walk the red carpet with the stunning beauty.
ScarJo, who recently turned 27, has been more or less flying solo after her brief fling with Sean Penn, 50, and rumors that she’s seeing Kate Moss’s ex Jefferson Hack.
She was married for two years to Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds. They divorced in July, with Scarlett admitting she can be a bitch to live with.
Still she recently told Cosmopolitan magazine she has no regrets about getting married so young in 2008.
“It grew out of a romance and love and a desire to have a future with somebody and I was very fortunate that I married somebody who turned out to be the person I thought he would be,” she said.
She’s quite the romantic, but is said to be very particular, not to mention a touch peculiar.
Web site CharityBuzz.com is hosting the bidding, but don’t count on a fun-filled evening with the blonde bombshell.
The fine print on the auction says the winner will only get a chance to “meet” Scarlett on the red carpet, not be her date, as some web sites have misleadingly reported.
Plus, the winner must also undergo a background and security check.
The Premiere is set for Monday, Dec. 12, in Manhattan.
The good news is that all proceeds will go to “Blessings in a Backpack,” a non-profit group that provides meals to underprivileged kids through schools on weekends.
At least check, the bidding was at $ 1,300, so hurry on over. It’s expected to go as high as $ 5,000 and maybe higher.
You’ll be helping one of ScarJo’s favorite charities.
And as they say, hold a child’s hand and you will take a mother by her heart.
