Jessica Biel found it “brutal” when her naked movie scenes were all over the internet.
The actress played a stripper whose son was in a coma in 2009 film Powder Blue. The film had a limited release in the US before coming out on DVD. Images of her writhing around on stage while portraying Rose-Johnny flooded websites and she admits the attention was difficult to handle.
“It’s unfortunate. It was brutal for a while. There was so much more that we put into it,” Jessica said.
However, the experience hasn’t put the actress off appearing naked on screen again. She would be willing to shed her clothes if it’s the right choice for a role.
“I wasn’t so scarred by the experience that I wouldn’t do it again,” she told the American edition of Elle magazine. “If a director I trusted came to me with an amazing opportunity and it felt organic, I would do it.”
Jessica is in an on/off relationship with Justin Timberlake. She explained even being with someone can’t take away from the loneliness she often feels while working.
Shooting movies means she travels to different countries all the time and it can be hard to put down roots anywhere.
“You live this weird gypsy lifestyle, having to make new friends all the time, going to a different city living in a new place,” she explained.
The 29-year-old does understand how lucky she is though. She’s been filming Total Recall with Colin Farrell lately and the shoots have been a lot of fun.
“The other day Colin and I were in our harnesses, hoisted up 30 feet in the air, looking down saying, ‘Holy sh*t. This is crazy,’” she laughed.
“The adrenaline rush of that was explosive. We hit the bottom, looked at each other and burst into giggles. That was an I-love-my-job moment.”
Total Recall is based on the 1990 science fiction movie of the same name.
