Ashley Greene wants to be known for her career rather than her personal life.
STAR of The Twilight Saga movies Ashley Greene has opened up about her leaked nude photos, past boyfriends and what she thinks about Gerard Butler.
Greene, who plays Alice Cullen in the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s novels, had the nude shots leaked on the internet in 2008.
“One of my family members said to me, ‘Ashley, everyone does it. You’re just famous,’” the 24-year-old told the November issue of Allure magazine.
“It’s a double-edged sword (to be a celebrity). It’s amazing to be known, and it’s great that there is this audience that wants to know about me. But I’m like, ‘I’m going to be known for coming out of the gym rather than (for) what film I have coming out’.”
Last year Greene was linked to actor Gerard Butler, 41.
“He’s extremely attractive, but I think he’s a little too old for me,” she said.
Greene, who once dated Joe Jonas after he split up with Demi Lovato, said she was “really happy” that the actress is healthy after having overcome her eating disorder.
She also quashed reports that she and Lovato fought over the Jonas brother:
“She and I never had a problem with each other. But, you know, it doesn’t go away … Jen Aniston still gets asked about Angelina Jolie,” she said.
Greene, who denied dating Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, has been romantically linked to Reeve Carney, star of the Broadway musical Spiderman: Turn Of The Dark.
The pair were said to have been spotted getting cosy on a Manhattan club dance floor.
“Ashley has always had a crush on Reeve and he finally was into it,” Us Magzine reported a source saying.
