Britney Spears Releases Steamy Music Video Starring Real-Life Beau
Britney Spears and her real-life boyfriend, talent agent Jason Trawick, stripped down for a series of steamy sex scenes in the new video for her single “Criminal.”
The sultry footage shows Spears, 29, being rescued by Trawick on a motorbike, after her British boyfriend, played by model Freddy Bradshaw, slaps her around on a London sidewalk.
Spears then joins Trawick, 39, for a crime spree, including armed robbery, across the English capital — taking intermittent breaks for some hot and heavy hook-ups.
“Mama I’m in love with a criminal,” she sings, “And this type of love isn’t rational, it’s physical.”
But their passionate lovemaking was not the source of scandal; Spears was slammed for insensitivity in choosing to shoot the flick in East London, where riots erupted in August.
The riots, which started as a protest against the death of a suspected armed drug dealer shot by police, sparked looting, arson and violent clashes between rioters and police.
“It’s images like this, with pop stars glamorizing gangs, which means that some young people get drawn in,” Hackney’s Member of Parliament, Diane Abbott, said in decrying the violence in the video.
Spears’ camp side-stepped the controversy saying that “the video is a fantasy story featuring Britney’s boyfriend, Jason Trawick.”
